A Continent Where the Dead Are Not Counted (Published 2021)
All 54 African countries put together have registered fewer Covid deaths than France. That doesn’t mean people aren’t dying from the virus.

Wee wina ngoma mutwe. They could tell you the death is from covid but did they really tally? Rem they have never announced more than 3o deaths in a day. Unataka kusema huko ndiko kuoverestimate? There was a time almost all deaths were reported as covid deaths so that we can get more money from the international communuty, atleast hapa kenya.
Kuna some talkers who put a research article that africans have some kind of immunity against it...the gist of that article is not true
Riu urenda kwaria atia mwaka mweru? I dont believe anything mutahi reports, lakini @mzeiya hapo juu ameleta twist ingineWee wina ngoma mutwe. And again, in a situation where you are hardly finding an empty bed in hospital coz all of them are occupied, do you even believe the 4 deaths Mutahi reports?
Of course even most of what this article talks about is a lie but covid deaths are highly underreported. But doesn't mean we have a spikeNY Times just got reported by The Spectator for peddling fraudulent news.
- Low mobility due to a poor transport infrastructure and high travel costs.I theorise that we did not bear the brunt of the scourge because of
-The late landfall of the virus on the continent gave the populations of Africa time to have learnt and adopted personal protective measures
-The population dynamics in Africa (90 pc rural) worked against the fast spread of the virus compared to say France (80 pc urban) and living in close quarters.
-Timing- The virus hit Europe when immunities are naturally low (winter)
-Sunshine- Africa has plenty of this and it is important in the formation of vitamin D which strengthens immunity resilience.
- Diet - More natural than processed in Africa's leading to comparatively fewer underlying conditions...
...and so on. I think our (Kenya) numbers may not be grossly underreported as such.
Why would you expect a media house founded with the proceeds of slavery to say anything accurate about Africa and the people coming from it?
Yeah, kuna machungu mob sana kwa hio article. Do they mean to tell us all people who die in the U.S. are counted? The whites cannot hide their dismay that the pandemic isn't killing the sub-saharan Africans who have few and poorly equipped hospitals. A visit to their news outlets social media platform will make you angry.
Elaborate please. It's puzzling. In the UK there is reports of disproportionate deaths among the blacks and other ethnic minorities. And yet the continent seems to have been largely spared.
Makes sense, alternatively the deaths in those western countries could also not be accurate as they suggest.I theorise that we did not bear the brunt of the scourge because of
