1. Wearing camouflage is considered a serious crime in some countries in Africa and the Caribbean. Unless you're in the military, In these places wearing camouflage prints is a serious crime, and can be considered uniform forgery.

2. Masturbation in Indonesia You might've read stories that the punishment for masturbation in Indonesia was decapitation. That's untrue at worst, getting caught doing so in Indonesia just means you'll be rotting in a prison for a measly 32 months.

3. Selfie and Tattoo Rule in Sri Lanka. Taking Selfies in front of idols of Lord Buddha or wearing Buddha tattoos in Sri Lanka is illegal. Doing so is considered mistreatment of Buddhist images and is quite a serious offence in the island country.

4. Flush Before 10 in Switzerland The curfew on flushing toilets after 10:00 PM is quite a strict regulation of Switzerland. Everybody, better finish their business before the clock strikes ten.

5. It’s illegal to fart/pass wind in a public place after 6pm on Thursdays in Florida. It’s never really been enforced in Florida but it was probably written in the 1800’s. It’s not clear why this ever became a law, or a rumoured law in the first place.

6. Mandated Polygamy Although polygamy is not uncommon in many regions, some parts of Africa have mandated men to have two wives.

7. Making International calls is a crime in North Korea According to reports, in 2007 a North Korean factory boss was executed by a firing squad in front of 15,000 people after being accused of making international calls on 13 phones he installed in a factory basement.

8. Sing Only in the Key North Carolina has a strange law that makes singing in an off-key an illegal act.

9. Shave It for Later Men from Nevada who have grown a moustache are legally prohibited from kissing women.

10. Whipping the Innocent If there is a case of rape in Sudan, the victim can be whipped publicly instead of taking strict action against the culprit.
