Waliopàta pia wanalia

We need to stop throwing money at our problems, let's throw money at solutions steeped in good rationale and calibrated to deliver the desired outcomes.

193Birrions later do the children of NE have schools to attend, from ECD to TVETs? Do they have access to clean water and toilets? Do they have access to affordable, quality healthcare services? Do they even have a solid, progressive policy to boost their main economic mainstay, livestock?

What a waste!

Then what formula do they apply
One mile one shilling.

EDIT-
@bigDog na mimi tulisema hii formula yafaa kubadilishwa to one person one shilling tukaitwa wakabila.

Viongos wengine wakaamua kuwa vague fence-sitters wakasema WIN-WIN.
Yoote tisa - there is very serious inequality, whichever way you look at it.

Is it? Then what formula do they apply that gives a county like Turkana a big chunk of the devolved funds? Is it not the equalization formula?

We have had 2 formulae used to allocate funds, this is the current one but it is set to be replaced by the one passed last year amid plenty of intimidation and misinformation

CRA 2nd basis.jpg

Notice that 18% is allocated based on poverty? This is a 2% drop from 20% in the first basis formula which was used between 2013 and 2018

Also, land size favours huge counties like Turkana, Marsabit ( and rightly so)

Thank you. If the equalization factor meets poverty and development factors, any Kenyan would want to settle anywhere in the next 50yrs.
