Update on Sakaja's Nomination

I foresee a Sakaja win and I also foresee a long drawn court battle as to whether he shall be duly elected...

Here is a typical example of how to cheat the system through loopholes in our laws.
IEBC are confused. They cannot perform the vetting process of the academic qualifications of candidates. They should have waited for the Govt department that vets degree certificates before confirmation.
Unfortunately, the courts could not challenge the IEBC position.
In other words, Sakaja is on the ballot through impunity or deceit.

Also going forward, most gov. employees with forged papers will use this ruling to bar their parastatals from investigating them.

The best course is for the next parliament to scrap some requirements which don't add value.

That department is CUE, and people were bought to pass that fake degree after that there was no walking it back. Ukora imekolea kwa society. Lakini if Sonko got a certificate of good conduct, on top of a death certificate, hii ya Sakaja ni shadow

Depends on which side will win. Ikiwa ni JS, forget about it. He has already defended him in public .
That said, degrees are overrated, a lot. A person with CPA - K, or even higher diploma isnt qualified to run for office, but one with a degree in theology qualifies. Si ni ufala?

As long as you are on the right side, you will be accepted, look at Joho, Ngilu, Wavinya....even when you want to steal, just align yourself with government and you are assured of even a promotion like the COVID billionaires, some of whome have been promised to be ambassadors
