It's very unfair considering The constituency has been getting 100m each financial year since 2004, the county has received billions since 2013.
But we're a ferked up country when mps have to be given 100m to do what the national government should do. Mp primary and most important role is legislation and oversight.

All the money belongs to the national government and that's why the fund was rebranded from CDF to National Government CDF (NG-CDF).
The CDF only shortens the process of need identification, resource prioritization and allocation, implementation and handover to users. It is better than having to wait for resources to trickle down from the center to the periphery.
The only problem is that the 290 more planning and implementation units are 290 more possible corruption sites.

Like I said,the intentions of those publishing the photos aside,this,is not right.

I can also share pictures of people who died of covid and said had funds and resources meant for covid not been stolen , those deaths would not have occurred....
anybody can also post pictures of the same children studying under a tree and said that if two billion was not stolen everyday those children would be studying under more humane conditions...
the publisher should be talking about corruption generally not just one specific corruption and then sharing unrelated pictures with half truths

It is very wrong and we should be blaming the leaders of machakos that those Kenyans are suffering...they should be held to account!
Now bring pictures of people suffering in elgeyo marakwet and then we can blame their leaders for not alleviating their suffering...

Simplistic conjecture to score cheap political points. Murang'a has ndakaini dam but we still see it's residents having no water/having to trek long distance for water.

You are very good at creating a straw man chief. The discussion was about water problems in Marakwet that could have been fixed by Arror and Kimwarer dams. The unsaid argument is that corruption has made these people continue suffering. The central government had already allocated this money but it was stolen.

Munene,this can not wash...You imply that a single dam should serve a who county? Like saying Kisumu has lake Victoria taps should not be dry. Water has to be consumable to be of use to people.
You can do your own search buddy....if you want us to discuss problems in marakwet, bring marakwet pictures...otherwise those pictures are asking us to discuss problems in machakos.
It is akin to sharing pictures of children of your fifth neighbour suffering because of food and then saying @bigDog is to blame....it is wrong those children are suffering but can we blame you with wrong evidence?

Those dams were supposed to serve 50,000 people in Kerio Valley. The projects had been approved. Corrupt cartels and mafia kicked in robbed our people their right to access water. Water availability could have reduced poverty and conflict in Kerio Valley.
