This is why Ruto is quietly propping up a weakened and directionless ODM to serve as a straw man opposition ahead of the 2027 elections. In today’s information-driven era, especially with politically restless Gen Z, it’s smarter to divide the public than give them a single target to rally against. Better to feed them half a loaf than risk losing the whole bakery.
