Suicides imezidi, two reported today so far

Police are investigating an incident in which a 33-year-old salonist was found dead in her house after an apparent suicide in Ongata Rongai, Nairobi.The body of Evalyne Akinyi was found in her bedroom dangling from the roof long after she had died. She used a cable and bedsheet to end her life and left a note in the house saying she was tired with life. The woman lived alone.

In Mathare slums, the body of William Odhiambo was found in his toilet after he had committed suicide using a rope.The 29-year-old man had failed to report to work for two days prompting his colleagues to check on him when they realized he was dead. The motive of the incident is yet to be known.
 
Watched a documentary called The Bridge on which the filmmakers spent an entire year filming the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, CA which is the place where most suicides occur.

They filmed as dozens threw themselves to the freezing water below teeming with sharks and most of the ones who did it usually had come there countless times, contemplated and left.

Interviews with their loved ones revealed just how bad mental illness can be. The anguish to just wanna escape it all... I now emphasise a lot with those that choose to end their lives even though it feels like a very selfish act.
