  • This comes a day after Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed disbanded the federation and formed a 15-member caretaker committee.
Embattled Football Kenya Federation President Nick Mwendwa has been arrested, Nation Sport understands.
Sources indicate Mwendwa was picked up by six men in plain clothes immediately after exiting Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi where he had gone to follow up a case the federation has filed challenging the government's decision to disband it and form a caretaker committee.
This comes a day after Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed disbanded the federation and formed a 15-member caretaker committee.
