Unfortunately the issue is taking a tribal angle and the Kikuyu I included might have a hard time going forward .If you listen carefully , the narrative seems to point to Kikuyus being against the President.

Below is what I said in September last year. Depending on whichever side of the political divide you are on you will view this tribal issue differently.

On one hand, anti-Ruto people will say the president is sending goons to MK to threaten them because they are now against him.

On the other hand pro-Ruto people like myself say, the tribal narrative does not involve the ordinary Kikuyu but the Kikuyu leadership.

It is the Kikuyu leadership, led by Gachagua, that is sowing the discord, fronting poor Kikuyu youth to destroy property and attribute it to Ruto. In so doing, Gachagua hopes to radicalize a chunk of the Kikuyu vote against Ruto.

The beauty of it is that he is failing in this. Everyone can see how unhinged he is. While he may manage to convince a few hundred thousand here and there, the general feeling in MK is that Gachagua is on his own.

You're very wrong, with or without riggy g the mountain will vote against the butcher of sugoi. Toothful man is just taking advantage of the situation, like yesterday he urged Gen Z to join opposition which they will not. Hi I ndivyo mnadanganya sugoi butcher that riggy ndiye anafanya achikiwe? With destruction and deaths from the 7/7 demos and shoot to kill orders the butcher will have a hard a time winning back the mountain.
Even the spineless Ndindi nyoro has grown balls of steel

Where did I say MK will vote for Ruto? Specifically MK west. I have long held that their will be apathy in MK.

Ruto doesn't even need a majority of our votes to win. He only needs 10-20%.

After 25th June demos in parliament ODM members wailed that only Mt Kenya was demonstrating later that evening their governors released letters thanking their supporters for not demonstrating. Last night Duale on jkl said my Kenya are ungrateful because they have 8 cabinet secretaries and still demonstrating.

Exactly. It is a narrative by political leaders.
The question is, do you mtu wa kawaida subscribe to that narrative?

Mimi I support Ruto and hate the way politicians love donating money to build churches while schools rot. If I was president I wouldn't even donate a cent to churches. But I would marshal communities and business people to raise funds to fix run down schools.
