The main motivation is to milk SHA monies. Nobody will every complain about exorbitant charges or unnecessary procedures. Who will set the charges? What makes these businesses more efficient at providing such services than hospitals? How did they arrive at 7 years? Something else, what will happen to the equipment that the facilities already own? Things will always go wrong whenever public healthcare provision is mixed with profit-seeking entities.
