Nine robbery with violence suspects on Wednesday night escaped from Thika Police Station cells after attacking the cell sentry.

It is alleged that one of the remandees called out the officer to be taken to the toilet at around 10pm. However, immediately the officer opened the cell door, the nine remandee prisoners in the cell attacked him and forcibly took away the keys to the main door to cells.

After opening the main door to the cells, they escaped through the roof and jumped into outer side police compound.

The officer immediately raised alarm and his colleagues started pursuing the suspects where one remandee was re-arrested, barely 500 meters from the station.

The search for the rest of the suspects is ongoing.

Meanwhile, the officer in question has since been detained in police cells to assist in investigations.

Shock as 15-year-old Boy Kills 8-year-old Girl, Put Body In Sack Before Burying It in Shallow Grave

A family in Murang’a County is demanding justice for their daughter who was allegedly killed by a 15-year-old boy under unclear circumstances.

The suspect strangled the 8-year-old girl before burying her body in a shallow grave.

It is alleged that the suspect murdered the girl and put her body in a sack and buried it.

The matter was reported to the Police who launched a manhunt for the suspect. He was arrested and arraigned in court.

Appearing in court, the boy pleaded not guilty and was remanded at Murang’a juvenile centre, from where he reportedly escaped under mysterious circumstances.

The manhunt has now been intensified, with detectives now believing he probably sneaked into Nakuru or Lamu counties.

The family of the deceased revealed that they learned of the new development with shock. They have appealed to investigators to explain how the 15-year-old suspect escaped from juvenile remand.

2.8 yako iwe pale elephant hill, aberdares
Exactly.
Ama happy valley
Mpaka Chalbi desert? Kila mtu apate 2.8 acres of desert sand....chonjo
Imagine how much it will be worth
And there's oil underneath.
Na ukiondoa the area of roads, national parks, edu and other civil institutions itakuja at most 0.5 acre per person
We don't need those. If the govt wants to construct them, then we will sell.
