This sentimental attachment and group property ownership is prevalent in most towns in the central region. If you check Othaya,Karatina,Mukurweini etc all have the same problem...

Macharia Rungare was visional and an astute businessman.Sad that his family has decimated his wealth! What still amazes me is that despite dying several decades ago and the family selling off and squandering a great deal of his wealth,if he was to come alive today Macharia rungare would still be among the richest people in Nyeri.
