How can a country prepare for elections without input from the interior ministry? The same people who are required to provide security for the election. Or will the "independent" chepukati hire his own security?

Have you seen the letter ama unahara tuu? Therein, chebukati raises very weighty issues that I think are way above your pay grade. At least going by your response.

matters election preparedness ni kazi ya iebc. Matters security ni interior, they all need to prepare separately since you can't be a player and referee.
Hiyo committee should not be there, Kwanzaa cj yet all matters usually end at the courts.

At what point will Interior know that IEBC requires them to provide 30000 armed officers to plan for their rations and allowances. Coordination committees ensure that everyone required to participate in a concerted action are working together smoothly, anticipating and preparing for each other's needs, so that the process is not shambolic and eventually delivers a credible product. Such a committee would also offer an opportunity for the bit players to share experiences from the past so as to prevent previous mistakes.
The committee would also cut time wasted in exchanging letters between the different organs.

what ideally should happen is iebc should plan for elections then invite interior ministry to help in security planning only.
But at no point should interior invite iebc to plan for elections.
Even for matters technology , iebc should plan then invite ict ministry or cak.
IEBC should be totally independent from any directions, rather it should be the one inviting other players.
 
Is this the letter making everyone twist in their knickers? That has been disowned?
The type of self preservation in Kenya is out of this world...
