Milihoi Attack: A GSU Vehicle burnt down and few police offers have lost their lives.

Reports confirmed , the incident occurred in Milihoi area, Lamu county on the morning of Friday, January 7, 2022.
Six police officers feared dead after fire exchange.

The kenyan police and military is very formidable against unarmed civilians as in the case where they whipped and forced hapless drivers to swim in mud. However, when faced by some riffraff with catapults, the cower like the rats they are.
 
Fighting guerillas who ambush and disappear into the bush is a bit tricky. The govt will need intelligence from chiefs, wazee wa nyumba kumi, spies, community members etc to smoke out the attackers.
 
HINDI POLICE STATION

SUBJECT; BANDITS ATTACK INCIDENT REPORT.

It was reported by oc GSU MOkowe Mr Maurice Odanga that there were gun shots within Milihoi area map ref gh 759694 about 10km south west of the station. Nps officers from Hindi police station rushed to the scene and found oc Gsu Mokowe and oc b
Bpu milihoi on ground. It was established that front escort vehicle belonging to Gsu Kasaka kairu Gk B 629Y came under bandits attack and all the four officers on board were fatally shot who are:
1. No 89511 Sgt. (Drv) Isaac Omuse Okodoi
2. No 82920 Cpl. Hosea Kimutai
3. No 115678 PC. Peter Parsayo
4. No.108561 PC. CMohamed Guyo.
They had already escorted vehicles from Gamba to Mpeketoni and they were coming to pick other vehicles from Ndeu roadblock for onwards escort to Gamba. Their land cruiser which was in front, GK B 629Y was torched by the said bandits. The other land cruiser which was behind GKB307U on board six officers fought through the ambush and are all accounted for and safe. These are:
1. No. 95313 Cpl. Jonathan Sahe 2. No. 100026 PC (Drv) Leonard Mambo
3. No. 97837 PC Peter Kombe
4. No.116200 PC Jimmy Kaimenyi 5. No. 116128 PC Jacob David
6. No 115684 PC Dennis Mumo. BPU Milihoi responded in time and repulsed the attackers. The motive of the attack is not yet known. Front left tyre of APC belonging to BPU Milihoi was also deflated by the attackers in the process of fire exchange. Bodies of the deceased officers were taken to Manda Operation Camp for air lifting to Nairobi. The wreckage of the vehicle has been towed to Hindi Police Station. More progress report to follow.
