For those in the dark like me. I had no idea it was this messed up. Changing the structure and curriculum was overreach. At the very least the structure should always be maintained while the curriculum is adjusted to keep up with the times. Nimetumia pictures sababu najua group yangu tuko wengi.

I had no idea. So, these are the options for grade 10 kids under the STEM pathway.

Very nice but poorly implemented .
At the moment kuna kashida where C1 schools are insisting hakuna mambo ya Essential mathematics ,meaning even those who are in C1 and selected Arts & Sports sciences or Social Sciences lazima wasome core and not essential maths.
I opted for a private school .

Tungerudi tu A-level system mara moja. All these changes point to that direction. Curriculum changes zifanyike under a stable system. As we speak, half a million grade 10 learners have exited the system. Hao sasa ni form 2 technically, meaning hawawezi enda colleges even for certificates. We now have two exits (upper primary and lower secondary) that don't fit with the rest of the education system.
