Journalism gone to the Dogs

You would imagine (and you would actually be right) that the headline of the most popular newspaper of a country reflected the hopes, aspirations and sometimes, regrets of things done wrong and which should never be repeated.

The headlines and first page is always reserved for important political and economic developments of a country.
Some other times, the editors bring forwards a country’s triumph in innovation, sports, agriculture or mining.

Now, Senators, the best paper in East and Central Africa, The Daily Nation, had this nonsense as headline and first page for today.
How beneficial is this to anyone?

What has gone wrong with us? Is this what majority of Kenyans would desire to be informed of?
Wouldn’t it have been better if they brought something instructive on agriculture, health, educational or any of the myriad subjects that are relevant and beneficial to us?

No wonder Koinyangi dismissed them as only fit for kufunga nyama.
