I honestly don't know the truth of his statement, but I’m beginning to feel that Ruto might be intentionally undermining the education system in this country. It’s disheartening because I benefited from free primary education, a system that wasn’t perfect in many ways, but the free exercise books and pens made a real difference. I would have hoped that a PhD holder would be focused on improving education rather than weakening it.
