gmos mtakula by force

You lost me there. Are you saying we should go out there and find the evidence that proves GMOs are harmful? What if they are not harmful? How can you find evidence to prove a negative thing?

People have been eating this food, na bado hawajakufa.

kibaki didn't ban them out of hot air but from research findings.
Same approach should be used to lift the ban instead of roadside declarations and paying bloggers to push hashtags in favour of it.

The goal is to control our food supply chain. In South Africa they introduced GMOs in commercial agriculture in the late 90s, but to this day it is only some small international companies that are licensed to do it. Naona Kenya pia tutafany(w)a hivyo. And with Bill Gates himsellefu stopping over the other day.....this is a done deal gentlemen.

How come wazungu are slow to accept these GMO foods?

Some people don't trust the "the big business" like Monsanto. They fear that introduction of GMO seeds will kill the seed industry and favour those multinationals. There are also fears about the long term effects on the environment. Does gene transfer occur naturally? Can edited genes jump from one species to another?

Should we separate two issues here? Growing GMO food and importing GMO food to alleviate hunger.

I'm supporting importing this food for obvious reasons. However, such food must be clearly labelled so that those who don't want to eat it can avoid it. There are those that don't have anything to eat.

I also support growing GMO crops including food. More public participation is needed.

Are you aware of something called repackaging ?
Even relief food is repackaged and sold Kwa Duka .
Null and void ...... Next
Yes, I'm aware of it. This can be easily regulated now that the hasora government has decided to limit the number of importers.
