On Sunday/jana hapa North rift, youths occupied churches, repentance and asking for forgiveness was the norm. The cursing ceremony in Eldoret did wonders.

You are stretching your imagination too far. They will not have own candidate but will support a candidate who aligns with their political views. The candidate does not have to be a politician. Supporting own candidate is the surest way to give KK a second term.

Just like the last elections, they'll elect someone who will promise heaven. Masses like being lied to. It's time we do away with this system where even rugrats, bedridden, prisoners, etc are eligible to vote

Lying while outside government is very easy. That's one of the main reasons why Ruto 'won'.Now that he is in government, the opportunity for lying ceases to exist. he will be judged by his performance

But Rao was also lying, only that his lies never made any sense. He promised freebies in a country struggling not to be auctioned. If someone had explained the difficult fiscal situation that we were in, nobody would have voted for him.

It's some absolute nonsense. Where 60-70% of revenue goes to debt repayment, what do you use to fund those ridiculous plans? Or do you want to tell us people are stealing the money that's going to debt repayment? Already our edu is in shambles, yet it takes 1/3 of our recurrent budget. How much do you think that free university education will cost?
