Five Police Officers Kidnap a Man, Rob Him Of Sh80,000 and Abandon Him on Roadside
Five police officers have been arrested on allegations of robbery with violence.
The five were arrested on Monday after allegedly abducting and robbing a man of Sh80,000.
Police reports indicate that the suspects waylaid the man in Loitoktok in Kajiado County.
Their alleged victim was waiting for a taxi, when the five abducted him.
It is alleged that the victim was forcefully bundled into a waiting vehicle belonging to the five officers.
Preliminary investigations say one of the five robbery with violence suspects transferred to his phone Sh80,000 from the victim’s mobile phone.
They, thereafter, drove with him several kilometres away and abandoned him on the roadside..
