The boda boda rider then led him to one of the roads at the trading centre where he found the police officer with his daughter in the bush near the market. Police officers from nearby Police Station after hearing what had ensued rushed to the scene and managed to rescue their colleague from an irate mob that was baying for his blood. The girl was taken to Kilifi general hospital for medical examinations, where it was confirmed that she was truly sexually abused. “My fear is that the suspect may be set free because he is a police officer, but I am appealing to the concerned authorities to ensure justice for my daughter whose future has been ruined,” he pleaded
