An assistant chief in Meru carries a suspect to police station on his back. The suspect had locked himself in the house claiming that he had wounded his leg. Humphrey Mugambi, the assistant chief was forced to ferry the suspect identified as John Kambambu who was found in possession of the ingredients that make illicit liquor. When the administrator broke into the house and managed to get hold of him, the suspect complained that he had a wound on his leg and thus could not walk to the police station.
