A gunman wearing military-style clothing and body armor opened fire with a rifle at a supermarket in Buffalo, NY, killing at least 10 people and injuring three, before being taken into custody this afternoon.

The 18-year-old Buffalo shooter's name is Peyton Gendron and he is a Nazi. He wrote the names of Anders Breivik and John Earnest (who shot people at a synagogue in Southern California in April 2019) and the hashtag BLM on his gun. Police believe Peyton committed a racially motivated hate crime

In that same time, the inmate population dropped by more than half, from 12,419 to 5,563.
