Around mount Kenya, Mutahi means raider. A raider who specialized in bulls was known as Mutahi Ndegwa whereas one who specialized in calves became Mutahi Njau e.t.c. From my reckoning and deep knowledge of ancient mount Kenya tongues, Kagwe could mean sickly animals.
