I need to understand posts like these when people put them out on social media and forums like this one.
Do you feel relief that you have spoken(written) it aloud?

It is called a tribute.
Aren't tributes traditionally given when someone has passed?
But more specifically, i mean messages like these put out when the person referred to is either ailing or in some unfortunate position.
What does the broadcast of such a message do?

Boss, the best tribute you can give anyone, man or woman or child is when they are alive. Those given when some one is dead tend to be tinged with a large sprinkling of NaCl.

Am sorry but you are irritating. You are not the litmus test of what should or should not be posted. If you don't like any post move on quickly.................
Eat a dick francis. Im not saying it shouldnt be posted. Im asking what someone gets out of it because i dont know you gobshite.

True. I would think that also actually telling the person would be more impactful. And if the person has passed on, telling the friends and family is also a valid form of showing your love, fondness or respect for them.

Its why my first question was whether the person is a lister for them to actually see it. And if they aren't what does the person get out of it?

He doesnt have to. But what harm does it hurt to ask? And if he doesnt feel inclined to answer, maybe another lister will give me an one.
Good, we are getting somewhere. If it doesn't do any harm to ask, does it do any to post? And if it doesn't do any harm to post, why should you question the right or motives of the poster to post?

Unless of course YOU have (arrogantly) abrogated yourself the superior agency to question the relevance of other people's posts?

Logic 101. Nakuonea huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuko!

You are presupposing that i am offended or that i think there's a problem with posting it. From there your entire argument falls into the gutter.

Dude, what's your IQ? Nowhere have I said or suggested you were offended. What I have said, suggested and imputed is that YOU have (arrogantly) abrogated yourself the superior agency to question the relevance of other people's posts.

That is a totally different kettle of fish...............

Anyway, I was a bit idle for a while. Nice afternoon.
