6 members of the same family die in a fire after unknown assailants set their house on fire on Saturday night at Nguthuru village, Kandara in Murang'a County
The six included a grandmother, her three children and two grandchildren who were inside the house when the incident happened.

A report by Citizen TV indicates that the grandmother's sister has been arrested in connection with the arson believed to have emanated from family wrangles.
The main suspect in the attack is said to have moved out of the house just days before the fire incident.
