Cleaners at JKI Airport were yesterday fired , contracts terminated without their consent and ejected outside the facility forcing them to sleep outside JKIA gates .

This comes after the curfew order and the facility is running out of finances.
What kind of inhuman act and maltreatment is this?

It's so wrong for companies to fire people at a time that they are being devastated from the effects of Coronavirus scourge. Meanwhile, the COTU boss is busy in bed with the ruling political elite planning on how to bar some people from ascending to power.

Heartless bugger you are,why not tell them in advance instead of making them report for the shift the kick them out when they can't even go home.

Word is that the contracted cleaning company had been asked to come to the table for talks on renegotiation.
There is barely any work ongoing at the airport at this time.
Contractor akanyeta insisting to be paid his kawaida 7m per month or matter to be settled in court.
KAA canceled contract.
Contractor sends the cleaners to work kifua mbele. Conveniently, the press are there with well prepared scripts and interviews. All this to whip up emotions and public sympathy and outrage.
All this because the contractor could not sit down and reason with the management of KAAconsidering the circumstances.
Now if you remember the wafula guy who dropped in on London ice cold unannounced? Issue May be revisited as the contractor was culpable and it had been kept under wraps coz of international issues some of u may understand.
