BREAKING: Raila Odinga is Dead

The honest truth is that Raila, like most politicians, used his influence to breach the peace, and through that forced every successive government to strike a deal with him. The only difference between a Raila and say a Kalonzo is the level of influence.

Raila had the audacity to claim the elections was stolen in 2022. He kicked off the chaos by leading protests on the price of unga. When that was not having the desired effect, a "whistleblower" emerged claiming that Raila actually had 8 million votes, and thus came the second round of violent protests which led to the bipartisan talks.

Then the genz protests came and Raila took full advantage with his kibera goons, which he promptly withdrew after his handshake with Ruto.

Raila was not a statesman. He was a virus that tested the immune system of the nation, and inadvertently the nation grew stronger as a result of it. Sorry to his family but Kenya is better off.
Your hating is immaterial. Give up on your verbose text which appears like finding a needle in a sack of shit.
He was a human, if you expected a god you can create one from your wamunyoro thug.

He was a bad man, a very bad one who couldn't let Kenya transform into Singapore
On the contrary, his final act before he went to the here-after was progressive. It is almost as if he knew his time was up. He told the MP's to let go of CDF and focus on their legislative roles, for one. Where was this clarity of thought when he was full of energy?

So you want to fault even the clarity in his mind? You never wanted him to be human enough to err? FYI which he asked for at some point!
Looks like the apology wasn't enough

Let bygones be bygones
I’m not against Raila the man of flesh and blood, I’m against what he represented. That doesn’t vanish just because his heart stopped beating. For heaven’s sake, people literally died mourning him, during the viewing, the funeral, the processions. That should tell you something deeper: ideas don’t get buried with the body. They linger, evolve, and sometimes grow even stronger in death. History shows that when a powerful figure falls, their ideas often take on a life of their own, shaping politics, inspiring movements, or corrupting futures long after their voice is gone. The body may decay, but the legacy, for better or worse, keeps breathing through the people left behind.
