Nyayo stadium under the lights looks beautiful. The pitch is in far better condition too than Kasarani, but probably because Kasarani's pitch has been neglected for such a long time. It should be better by the time AFCON comes around. I am so proud of the progress.

When it comes to Kenya's progress, let's get out of the habit of one-upping each other. When the broken clock is right we all succeed. There is still so much work to do in these facilities.

Imagine sports villages mushrooming around the stadiums where fans can meet hours before the game, eat, drink, sing and then move into the stadiums for the game. Better ticketing systems to reduce hoarding and touting of tickets which has affected the Kasarani game today. (People bought tickets and were selling them for 1000 outside Kasarani.) These are lessons we can learn the more we host these kind of events.

Let's focus on doing even better going forward, especially on organization.
