Kasongo claims he loves God.
He proclaims that that is the reason he gives millions of our hard earned tax monies to Churches every week without fail despite vital services countrywide being on the brink of collapse due to financial constraints.
He reiterates that he will continue building Churches all over the country as he fears that on Judgement Day he won’t have any defence as to why he didn’t erect a Cathedral in every village on the land.
All well and good so far.
But is Kasongo telling the truth theologically?
That Bible that he carries with him to Church at every available opportunity clearly states:
“And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy and walk humbly with your God” (Micah 6:8).
But what is Kasongo busy doing?
He is spilling innocent blood of children and youngsters on the streets and blaming it on their parents, stealing every coin of our taxes and converting it to his personal use and that of his cronies, grabbing every available land, borrowing from international lenders in our name and pocketing the loot, intentionally defunding education, agriculture, transportation and health services for the poor and destitute of the land.
He is even instrumental in causing bloodshed and untold sufferings in far flung Sudan for his gold heists, recognising seceding countries and in the process opening old wounds without any Christian’s scruples.
Going by the above, is Kasongo the God fearing man he claims to be or is he a fraud and a hypocrite hiding behind religion to fleece, swindle and lord over us?
Shouldn’t @pop in and his infamous brigade of mwizi’s supporters be thoroughly ashamed of their blatant defence of an evil regime?
Last and definitely not least, why is the Church still aiding and abetting this duplicity?
Don’t they realise that Ruto’s era marks the end of our blind and kind benevolence to them unless they bravely and categorically change course and speak truth to power?
