This where I always say that Kenyans are deliberately ignorant. There is no doubt fuel in Kenya has way too many levies.

But what you don't even realize is that RMLF went from 18-25 last year when Murkomen was still CS Roads.

So why was fuel still relatively cheaper?
Fuel Stabilization, from the Petroleum Development Levy (PDL) was applied.

What has changed this month? Fuel Stabilization was not applied.

On top of that, OMC margins went up, the iran-israel conflict happened leading to an increase in landed cost.
