hapa nabii is right.If that road is the most important, it shouldn't be a toll road. We expect it to compete with Tanzania yet we want to charge people for it without providing alternatives. 30 years is a lifetime, western folks, rift will be impoverished by that road .

I don't know how this will happen.
So the toll road is stopped, then what? Where we will get the billions for the much needed road (it was conceived to solve a problem, wasn't it?)?

Mau Summit road, which would have been expanded into a four-lane dual carriageway through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, is the main artery from Nairobi to western Kenya and the neighbouring countries of Uganda, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
