Armed bandits raided a homestead in Laikipia on Thursday night and killed a woman before driving off a hundred sheep and goats.

The attackers struck at a manyatta in Naibor area of Laikipia North Sub-county along the Laikipia and Samburu counties border and made away with the livestock towards a neighbouring county.

Laikipia County Commissioner Joseph Kanyiri while confirming the incident said that security personnel were immediately mobilised after the 1:00 am attack to pursue the armed raiders but were not able to recover the animals.

Okay, which neighboring county? Baringo?
Jana, the samburu bandits attacked a pokoti homestead I know of and shot a kid. Saizi nangoja pokotis na samburus wapepetane. They fought a whole night

Kwani huko huwa hakuna stray bullets?
Bullets stray every time, but hardly can it hit anyone because:
1. They are fighting in the bushes/farms where nobody resides, and
2. In case of intense shootout, nobody can dare leave his house. People respond when cattle has been stolen, not because they have heard gunshots.
