I am not a Futurama fan .
Hii maneno ya pixels/resolution is very tricky . The Tecno and Naomis with 100+ mega pixels have a horrible image compared to iPhone or Google pixel with 12 MP .
Infact some current phone models with double digit MP can't beat HTC One M8 ya 2014 equiped with dual 4 MP cameras.
Exposure and post processing matters .

The processing and intelligence matters most.
Lens/shutter size and software optimization. Actually there is no phone camera beyond 16mp .
