In a news report that has been shared by a reliable source of information, it has been revealed that the two police officers do both come from Mombasa allegedly shot themselves for reasons that are yet to be disclosed.

It was reported today 12/04/2022 by no.113265 PC Ramadan Ali of Concordia Police Post that while they were patrolling together with no. 251132 PC kiprono koech at Bandari Sacco wall map ref. 775379 3km north of the post around 0630hrs they found no.62654 PC David Koech Kurgat lying facing downward outside the container in a pool of blood oozing from the back and an AK 47 serial number KP 5501874 rifle beside him. They informed in charge police post no. 75401 s/Sgt Benard Changwony. NPS officers led by SCPC Kisauni and DCI visited the scene and established that the deceased was relieved off duty yesterday 11/4/2022 together with s/Sgt Benard Changwony at around 1930hrs and they both proceeded to the police post. S/Sgt Benard Changwony who was the duty officer later went to respond to a distress call leaving behind the deceased at the post. It is suspected that the deceased secretly sneaked back to the scene where he shot himself on the left side of the chest and died instantly. No body heard the gun shot. The scene has been processed by scenes of crime personnel and body moved to Coast General Mortuary awaiting autopsy. No any notice of information was found. One spent cartridge of 7.62mm was found at the scene and 29rds of 7.62mm recovered from the magazine. The rifle AK 47 S/NO.KP 5501874 was also recovered at the scene. Case pui DCI Kisauni dealing.

SUBJECT: SUICIDE INCIDENT INVOLVING A POLICE OFFICER.
Ref Nyali Police Station OB no 20 /12/4/2022 at 11:35. It was reported by IP Eric Lihutsu of GSU at 0820 hrs that one of his officers no 97975 PC (Dv) Dennis Kamau Ndungu had committed suicide by shooting himself with firearm while in his room at unknown time. The scene was visited by SCPC and SCCIO Nyali and established that the deceased shot himself from the right side of the head and bullet exited on the left side using his official firearm. Glock19 Pistol s/ no GBZ 767 with 12 rounds of 9mm ammunitions, three spent cartridges and shattered Samsung mobile phone were recovered at the scene and kept as exhibits. The scene was documented by CSSS and body removed to Pandya Hospital Mortuary for preservation awaiting postmortem. Case PUI. DCI Nyali dealing.
