The fallout from the BBI ruling has made landfall. Lee Kinyanjui who had created his own briefcase party, Ubuntu, has decided to crawl back under the warm wing of the Jubilee dove to vie for a second term as Governor. It is clear, his chances of getting the running mate spot has gone to zero.

Kalonzo has suddenly found his voice and is currently on the campaign trail since BBI died indicating he has finally gotten his wish.
