They don't care!

The saddest bit is we seem not to learn, time and time again.

I was 13 when the country collectively ushered in a somewhat new dawn by dethroning Moi from the helm and we were the most optimistic people on Earth. Gains were made but then we seem to have rolled backwards and the same monkeys that ruled the jungle then are still around eager to remain in power which fair to them, are good at the game.

But here we are and as I turn 33, it's kind of a disillusionment that I might start looking at Mzeiya Jr. as part of the generation that might just usher our wonderful nation into the dispensation of a poeple-focused leadership coz what we have now in the arena is a joke.

End of rant.
You are right. The same monkeys that ruled the jungle then are still around eager to remain in power.

Huyo mtu served as Mois Minister in the Office of the President and also Minister for Home Affairs.

Boss the key to being a good critic is acknowledging a few facts...

Do not ignore facts. You come on as...ama Wacha tu.

"In the 1997 general election, Uhuru Kenyatta contested for the Gatundu South Constituency parliamentary seat, once held by his father, but lost to Moses Mwihia, a Nairobi architect.[15]

In 1999, Moi appointed Uhuru to chair the Kenya Tourism Board, a government parastatal. In 2001, he was nominated as a Member of Parliament, and he joined the Cabinet as Minister for Local Government.[16] He would also later be elected First Vice Chairman of KANU.[16]

In the nomination process in 2002 in what was widely thought as undemocratic and underhand, Moi influenced Uhuru Kenyatta's nomination as KANU's preferred presidential candidate, sparking an outcry from other interested contenders and a massive exit from the party ensued. This move by the late President Moi was seen as a ploy to install Uhuru as a puppet so that even in retirement, Moi would still rule the country through Uhuru and presumably insulate himself against the numerous charges of abuse of office that plagued his presidency."
