Europeans and all other human beings in any `developed` countries understand that life is all about working hard to leave a better and more sustainable life for your offspring. All living organisms understand that! Ata tiny mchwas and bees.
Lakini mzungu lied to the African that you can just live your life enjoying yourself.
Just look at how many clubs,hotels and drinking joints there are in Kenya as compared to factories.
Jinga like Sonko recently invested God knows how many millions in a shady looking club which unexposed Kenyans think is the real shit.
Apart from the few part time bar staff and cleaners, the only employment that club will offer the people of Shanzu is prostitution and drug dealing.
Why could he not invest in a Korosho factory or manufacturing plant to add value to coconuts, fishing etc...

Europe is all about work,work,more work ,the occasional holiday and then more work,then you die in a care home.
If you can`t handle that, just go back to Kenya raha and embrace poverty and strife in the name of no loneliness.

There is some truth in your rant but factory in Vumbistan is a 1000 ways to die. Esp if the factory/business is meant to empower or emancipate a large number of people. I am not negative but its not a walk in the park esp kama sio "home" county.

From what I've experienced so far, Kenyans work harder than Europeans. The difference is that the pay is shit in Kenya. Offices open at 9am while Kenya at 7am utapata watu

Nothing like that. A number of European firms are now outsourcing to Africa. Same productivity/output/quality but at a low cost

Salaries in Kenya are commensurate with her economic output.
Our per capita income is 2,000 dollars. That's the productivity of 50 million Kenyans and the salaries here reflect that.
I don't see the logic of using per capita. For instance, the per capita income of India is 7,400 dollars, Vietnam per capita income is 11,700 dollars. Kenyan employees are paid better off than those two countries yet our per capita is 2,000 as you mentioned.
