Attempts by the government to force taxes on electronic financial payments were met with full force by the opposition members of parliament. A brawl ensued and it became too hot the speaker had to vanish.

This is the 4th and possibly the last brawl in 2021 inside Ghana's parliament. The first brawl was in January 2021 during election of the speaker.

Back home here in Kenya, a crucial bill will be tabled today in parliament. tangatanga MPs have vowed to oppose it since they have the numbers.
