from suspect to witness

Impunity and the attitude of kwani mtado? sucks big time. Until we start holding poeple accountable, the war on graft will never be won

Kwanzaa the way she ignored court appearances in the name of duties, am sure hata hiyo September she'll find reason not to show up
kiulizo at what point did she turned to a witness?

Was she ever a suspect?

did we not discover that when you avoid showing up for your case that it will just be closed, deferred or something meaning wamewachana na wewe from that guy who was killed in a subaru on thika road weeks ago?

I meant if she has ever been charged in a court of law.
I hope you know that the court of public opinion is not a court of law.
We have a shitty system and an even shittier parliament that for all these years has never seen the need to amend the law to enable it's committee reports have a worth greater than that of a piece of tissue.

Let's not have trials by vilification and innuendo. We are supposed to be a civilized society.

so tuseme mps have just been collecting sitting allowances for nothing, hata hiyo kemsa probe was just for the shows, I never knew those committee reports are just for pleasing the masses, then in Kenya we've got bigger problems than just corruption. No wonder she was playing solitire the other day.

hata hiyo kemsa probe was just for the shows,
And the bribes. It was their way of getting a piece of the pie.

Flashback: There was a time when every committee that went for a tour to the coast lazima wangetembelea Grain Bulk Handlers and question its monopoly. Needless to say they'd to get back to Nairobi smiling.

Yes we do...and our folly is that instead of fixing our common and systemic problems we like to heap them at the feet of a few individuals. Projection at its best.
But Mwalimu, I think the few individuals....if they had the zeal and the will power, they can rectify the systemic problems albeit slowly

Some of the problems go back to our beloved katimba that we cannot change (or so we have been told). Our political system is also shitty because it makes some of our elected leaders (especially the president) beheld to tribal alliances for his own survival. We need to fix that too.

It will take a lot of years to unlock our country's full potentiality because systemic problems. Our constitution was copy pasted from developed countries and it was hailed as the most progressive constitution.
We didn't look at our own internal problems
