Yes, am looking for a safe safe specifically for my important documents. Pesa naweka kwa mpesa. Something to protect from fire, water and to some extent, theft.

Any leads? What specs do I check for? Digital or manual?

Those with knowledge in this area nichanue before I buy something useless in the name of a Safe.

Sarit Centre there's a safe shop. Cheaper than the banks

What will you be keeping the safe? That should inform your decision on the size of the safe.
Where will you put it. Would you need 'kuijengea'...that should be another consideration.
What is your budget?

I hope si nguo za Korinthian unataka kuficha huko...or the female get up that had Guka all messed up.

Main item is documents- certs, passports, titles, etc
I don't mind kuijengea at a corner inside my closet.

Certificates and titles are not documents you need to access all the time. They shouldnt even be in the house. All my title deeds are in a safety deposit box in a bank. Costs like 4k a year to rent one. I have a copy of each title in soft copy and photocopies.

For a safe get something compact (similar to the ones in hotels) to hold your passports and any jewellery. Something you can get a fundi to secure to the wall in a closet since they come with a bracket to keep it from moving.
Also Get a name brand like Yale.

Could you share the best banks

This information I do not have. Best to just ask your local bank if they offer this service. I do know that the bank will most likely require you to have an existing account or open one with them.
Also another thing to note that after the recent cases of guys having thousands of "fake" dollars and gold in saftey deposits, banks are now asking you disclose what items they are holding for you.
