Saccos have a lot of politics and undue pressure to deliver...

I remember in a certain sacco, kuna mzae who would take loans from the sacco, then take other loans from the bank and then accuse the sacco for taking too much from his paycheck than what the law provides for...ikakuwa polotics mob sana the sacco was almost giving declaring a loss on his loan

Hapo kwa siasa napo ni ukeli.
What I never understood though is why Mwalimu thought it prudent to invest in a bank.
What they bought for those many mbirrions is just an expensive banking license.
How did the membership sanction such?

Other saccos invest in banking products, maybe they thought it would be better to invest in a whole bank instead?
