Punishment: Msimamo about Theft

Supposing some 4 guys jointly collude and steal from you. Two are your direct employees. There is sufficient evidence to convict them of a criminal offense. Any prosecutor would get a conviction given the facts.

Supposing you don't necessarily want to have these offenders jailed. What other forms of punishment are available? What's available for petty offenders? What's available for that 22 year old young man that got misled?

I get your point. I will let the investigator have a free hand. Some young people watajipiga kifua because they think having a criminal record is a joke.

Forget about court processes. Let them agree, in a written document witnessed by law enforcement, to pay back even if in installments. Include haunting clauses in the agreement, like prosecution in case of failure or interest accumulation or possible forfeiture of personal properties in future. They may not pay back in full but will live terrified for a long time. They will also lose weight a great deal, and your future employees will have something to fear.

The only way it fails, is if I don't ask for prosecution for that theft. They have confessions, and some other exhibits.

Siyo pesa mingi saaana. A few tens of bags of cement ndiyo wamepatikana red handed. Lakini kuna vitu zimekua zikipotea: a roll of electric cables, drilling machine, etc. I don't have a proof but I suspect kijana wa site ndiye alikuwa na hizo maunjinga.

They should face the maximum of the law na uweke deterrent measures kwa site kama CCTV, body searches, na highly paid snitches.

Also kitambo Ebrahims supermarket had posters saying that any shoplifter caught will be charged 10 times the value of the goods stolen.

Luckily, ndiyo tunamaliza. CCTV nitaweka for wakaaji. Actually sikuwa nimefikiria financial penalty (fine) can apply!

Its not enforceable na mtu akilipa he can claim harassment.
