vaccine imports

Won't that create a market for stolen GoK supplies?
Are you applying Murphy's law here? When I went for vaccination I was registered online and only vaccinated after authorization returned via my phone. I thought that was very good for tracking such that everyone is responsible for what they sign for.

For my station, they wrote our details on a book.

Word. They buy from a central place where the government has imported, charge a reasonable administration fee. Not import from Estonia and Nagorno Karabakh so they start vaccinating people with saline solution.

😂😂😂 eti where from?
Quality issues with medication are always a concern everywhere.
But the reality is that GoK has a pretty foolproof system of assuring quality of what comes in and goes into public use.
They may not shout about it but this exercise has in the last several months led to withdrawal of substandard face masks from the market, for instance.

Kagwe implied that such system is not in place for private importers.

All more the reason why we should be wary about anyone waking up any day to say he's going into the vaccine business. Our Kenyans are good at cutting corners...and other funny stuffs...

When it comes to healthcare statistics, data from both public as well as private health facilities is all captured in one repository called KHIS to which both public and private facilities have access. The quality of that data is audited regularly for accuracy and completeness.
