Don't you feel wasted? I made it a habit of leaving after 30 minutes of waiting.Mimi on time keeping i had a very strict boss who had no tolerance for lateness..... The 2yrs I worked him shaped me up most of the time I am the one waiting for ppl.
ungekuwa keen na walimu wakati ulikuwa mdogo kama Sasa hivi ,yale huwa unapitia pale hungekuwa unapitia, shouting yourself hoarse sio mchezoWewe achana na Mwalim priss.
Lateness is also a pet peeve of mine. I consider it disrespectful to keep anyone waiting without good cause and just bad manners not to notify if running late.Unfortunately, it's very common. It destroys trust and makes the other party feel unimportant. I have been on both sides of lateness issue. With age, I'm learning to have a planner and a daily schedule. I'm mostly on time now, and will notify you if I'm running late.
Sasa wananiita tight ass who can't understand when you are late for a 13:00 hrs appointment!
Because time is precious to me, I always let you pick the time and venue of a meeting. 5 minutes leeway is all you get from me. Many a damsel wamefika late wanakuta niliondoka kitambo sana.
People I do business with know it's better walale hapo kwa venue than risk being late 6 minutes with me.
Reminds me. I saw a documentary titled "Gate keepers: the presidents men" About the USA presidents chiefs of staff. It was revealed that every even by Pres Bill Clinton run late. Kept foreign dignitaries waiting for hours. So when he left and Bush 43 came, staff who remained had to work so hard to keep up. The president showed up minutes ahead of his itinerary.
