Kuna madam juzi pia, I think @Meria posted who drove into the ocean near Kibarani at high speed. Thankfully, the bus looks like it was empty. Probably going to pick up tourists from the other side

That thought crossed my mind but wafanye nini na pale nakumbuka a time while crossing the ferry this guy exclaiming in a Digo accent that Mle ndani mna papa, papa mla watu aisee!

*Statement from Pollmans Tours & Safaris.*

This morning 10/01/2020 one of our buses coming from Diani plunged into the ocean from Likoni side while approaching the ferry.

1. We did not have any passengers on board having dropped them in Diani previous evening.

2. Both driver and his helper were rescued and safe.

3. Bus was secured and currently salvage exercise is going on

We would like to thank Kenya ferry services , Kenya coast guard and numerous members of the public who all came to help.

As a leading tour company safety remains our top most priority and we are grateful that there were no fatalities.
