@Karma_mama , being the first to comment on your own thread hapa tunasema is more narcissistic than masturbating to your own image in front of a mirror.
But haithuru, you are excused this time.

I think quality of life ranking by the UN is just one more weapon the mzungu uses to put the black man down.
Quality of life is relative.
I have been to Norway,Denmark and Sweden and as much as the system is faultless I wouldn't want to live my life in darkness and freezing cold weather half the year.
Quality of life means different things for different people.

The idea is that people in those countries least worry about the portable water, hunger, housing, jobs or school fees. The don't need to bribe anyone for any reason, they don't worry about the quality of their water, state of their roads or schools. And most certainly, they don't have village idiots as law makers. But Hong Kong really...nah?

The comment was an attachment of the report but noted nonetheless.
I agree that quality of life could be relative but I think availability of basic humans needs is a good starting point for assessment.

Africa should be able to provide all it's population with basic human needs but our own faults get in the way.
The lower levels of mental health problems among Africans compared to wazungus speaks volumes about who has a better quality of life though.

While quality of life may be affected by poverty and lack of basic human needs, material wealth does not guarantee a better quality of life. Small things that don't cost anything like laughing out loud once a day, a healthy social life etc all go a long way to improving your quality of life. Mzungu is desperately lacking in these small things and that's before having to deal with bad weather.

By the way what is your previous handle?

If Africans stopped breeding like rats things would really improve.......................
Sometimes a larger population is an asset. Some of the Europeans facing population decline have to take drastic steps. For example Germany didn't mind taking in a huge number of Syrian refugees. They were young, well educated and likely to keep breeding. Just the opposite of the Germans. Ready made taxpayers.

Lower reported cases juu hakuna mental healthcare mzuri Africa.
Still, depression, anxiety and all sorts of mental health issues are less prevalent in Africa reported or not.
Wazungus are a depressed lot who are slaves to work and have very little time for social interaction. And even when they interact it's mostly fake and almost forced. Their philosophy is each for their own and the government for us all.
Works in time of crisis like covid but it's a very isolating lifestyle that the ordinary African would really struggle to adapt to.
