Wanjohi 2022 agenda theorized...

Here me out.

We have been debating for three months straight kwa nyumba and I have been forming connections all over the place. Take it as food for thought.

1. BBI is Uhuru's baby not Raila's.

News about a fall out between Ruto and Uhuru started way before the handshake. The reason for it was probably when Ruto realised that Uhuru was not willing to give up the presidency. He had to many interests he needed to safeguard and did not trust Ruto to do so.

Uhuru's 'think tank' came up with the constitutional change idea so that he will come in as prime minister and have Raila as the president just by name. All the powers of the president will obviously be transferred to the office of the prime minister.

Raila was therefore brought in out of the cold to give the appearance that BBI was his idea and also as a political tool to bring in support from the Luo community to replace the Kalenjin vote.

2. De-whipping of Ruto allied parliamentarians.

Pulling from my point above, Ruto is fighting to be the president of this country and not an impotent one as he would be with Uhuru as prime minister. Thus, it is safe to assume he is not for BBI.

Currently the majority of parliament is government leaning (majority and minority) because practically all party leaders have signed post-election pacts and are basically under the Jubilee umbrella.

One party state politics. The BBI will pass through senate and national assembly with an overwhelming majority. What I don't know is if they can indeed change governance in parliament without the participation of the electorate - a referendum. I leave that to you armchair quasi-politicians.

3. Judiciary takeover.

We already know that Uhuru has finally decided to revisit the Judiciary. Maraga including myself. Uhuru is currently sitting on a list of judges that he has failed to sign on the basis that some of those on the list have questionable characters. I don't think anyone cares for

There have been counter accusations that the president wanted to include his personal recommendations into the list before approval.

Judicial capture.

It seems sympathetic judges are being fed into the system in anticipation of the obvious suits that will result from the illegal constitution change before 2022.

4. Post-election pacts.

This is the final piece of the puzzle.

Politicians picked from all divides for a single goals. Ethnic groupings to bring in as many numbers to support a constitutional change that a majority do not want. But so long as they hold the keys to the computer where they will tally the results, it is without a doubt the outcome will favor the government of the day. Everybody is eating so the only voices of dissent will be of those who have already split.

What is worse is they are doing this under the guise of inclusivity.

I find it disgusting that people fall for this inclusivity nonsense even my own mother, but she has always been a headstrong woman despite her undeniable genius. We have gone forward 10 years and regressed 30 years back to KANU in under a year and all I am seeing is people cheer leading the destruction of Kenya's tiny democratic gains.

Fuck wanjohi!

Bottom line is Uhuru is not a fool and his plan might succeed.
Such a self centred man who will do anything to hurt 50 million Kenyans but preserve his family.

Aaaargh
