Like someone said this is an ordinary application in murder/ manslaughter cases, happens in every country including the ones we admire for their swift conclusion of cases.

The difference is we invest very little in our judicial system, we need to put in much more money in our justice system if we are to have cases concluded in good time, ordinarily maximum of two years
