To echo Billy Tsuma's comments on the 4.7Billion that is lost in illicit trade in cigareetes, this goes for LPG and Lubricants as well. Revenue in the billions in lost through illicit trade in these sectors which is hurting legitmate investments, the manufacturing sector, the environment, employment health as well as destruction of equipment and machinery and loss of lives.

@Farheen Khandwalla and imagine we are the ones brigding the knowledge gap between the Taxpayer and the Authority. I should not dread waking up to call my clients to tell them there is a new change on the tax laws, for the 5th time and we havent hit Quarter 4 yet. ICPAK should help voice this issue. Give us the National Tax Policy.

with the conitual increase of taxes,,,alot of business will just close shop and move out...its really killing morale to start a business in this country...infact,,they should be thinking of reducing taxes as an incentive for more business to enroll

When the tax man/government make more than the manufacturer of a product, it stops being taxation and its theft. Also, when taxation is too high it, stifles economic growth as the market cannot afford.
